 SABANG MARINE FESTIVAL (SMF) Series of Events

The 2023 Sabang Marine Festival will involve around 1,000 participants, including artists, community members, students, media and business actors as well as government elements. This festival is also expected to provide economic value for business actors and the community.

BPKS as the initiator of SMF activities since 2015 has continued to strive to strengthen the image of SMF as a stopover destination for yachters crossing the waters of Sabang City.

Reporting from disbudpar.acehprov.go.id, the Sabang City Government through the Tourism Office and other regional apparatus will enrich this festival with various cultural and marine tourism attractions that will make SMF23 even more lively.

A colossal art performance by Yusri Saleh (King of Ratoh Jaroe) is being prepared with hundreds of dancers from Sabang City to present an opening performance that can hypnotize the audience.

The attractional cultural parade will be held not only on land but also at sea with sea commanders and fishermen as the spearhead of maritime culture in Sabang City. The participation of Creative Economy/MSME players is also one of the main targets in the MSME and Creative Economy exhibition which is a series of SMF23 activities.

Various nautical-themed competitions and beach clean-up activities are open for those of you who are interested in taking part. Khanduri Adat Meulaot with a special meal which will be distributed free of charge to visitors, will be the closing of the Sabang Marine Festival series of activities.

The full support of the Aceh Culture and Tourism Service and the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy for one of Aceh's leading tourism events will be realized in the form of promotional activities. It is hoped that this support will be able to attract as many tourist visits as possible to attend the 2023 Sabang Marine Festival.
